Average hotel cost?
Snowboard rental?
I already have gas and food figured.
My boyfriend wants to go to colorado really bad right after christmas – for about 4 days the weekend of new years.
How much would an estimated cost be? I’m asking people who have gone before… maybe a couple like my boyfriend and I. We want to stay in a fairly nice hotel but we dont need anything fancy, and maybe try out some snowboarding for a day or two.
Any estimates?

Depends on where you go, but here is a estimate:
Snowboard Rental/Lift ticket: $100/day per person
Hotel: $150-250 per night (Holiday rates right after Christmas). It will be a little cheaper at some ski areas during non holiday times.
BTW: You are going to have a hard time finding a place to stay that time of year. That’s generally the busiest week of the year so you better get on it right now and you might be able to find something. Probably not at the ski area itself though. You might want to consider Santa Fe or Taos in New Mexico. Great ski areas and a little less expensive than, say Aspen, Vail, etc.
Good luck and have fun!!

If you bring your own gear make sure to check the airlines charge for bringing a snowboard.
It may be worth it to rent. Also, some hostels are set up nicely by ski hills and you can even find great people to ride with.
