I am working on finding a rental to drive from denver airport to breckenridge colorado, an hour and a half drive. Will a ford explorer with all-wheel drive and snow tires be good to go? 4X4 is very expensive.

snow tire and AWD is good to go.
its not like you’re on mountain skiing trip. Or off road snow climbing etc.
just drive carefully.
