I want to go to Colorado this December before Christmas for a long weekend. What are the best towns in Colorado that will give you that small, charming, Christmas feel? I’ve heard Breckenridge is cool. Any others? I’m not even necessarily looking for a ski resort – just a place that will offer that perfect, hilly, Christmas town vacation feel… Somewhere I can walk from my hotel to the town and grab hot chocolate, or sit by the fire.
Thanks in advance!

Georgetown has a Christmas Festival and Market that is amazing. They also decorate the whole cute little historic town. It is a short drive through the tunnel to Breckenridge and the ski resorts. Stay at a comfy B&B. Stop in at the Happy Cooker for one of the best breakfasts/brunches in Colorado. IMHO
