Great hamburgers with microbrews. Jim particularly likes Avalanche and the fish and chips. Sit at the bar at lunch and ask for the local’s special. Great hamburger for about $7.00 with drink.
A don’t miss, particularly at lunchtime. The Blue River Salad is great. Always have a really good fish and chips with halibut. Martinis are wonderful particularly with the olives stuffed with blue cheese. Great Lemon Drops also.
Located on Main Street. Great bar upstairs with lots of happy hour specials. One of our favorites to visit for an evening meal.
The place to go for evening dinner in our book. Great food, even buffalo, with a great winelist. Right in the heart of Breck.
Spencer’s at Beaver Run Resort
Our recommendation for lunch on ski days. Right there by the Beaver Run Lift and just up from the parking lot we prefer. Bar opens at 7am. Must sound like bars are our favorite thing . . . Not so but on a cold ski day a hot toddy is a welcome sight. Fantastic lunch buffet but the rueben and fresh potato chips is something else.
