i am moving to Glenwood springs area in Colorado in a couple weeks,.If there is anyone who is from that area or knows about it, can you tell me about it? What is it like to live there, places to live, weather, jobs, schools, etc. I have been looking online for apartment complexes or rentals and have been having a hard time finding anything, mostly just vacation rentals. Any information that you can help us out with would be great.

My family is looking at moving to New Castle Colorado in a couple months. If there is anyone who is from that area or knows about it, can you tell me about it? i’m staying in a lodge for 2 nights starting on the 13th of february. can anyone tell me how the skiing is? is there a good bit of snow up there? this is my first time going to breckenridge, so i dont really know what to expect around this time of year. (and i checked the weather for the next week; its supposed to snow for 5 days straight) also, how low might the temperatures get? im only asking because all the websites ive been checking tell me different things.

I am going to Breckenridge this January to snowboard. I will probably snowboard for four days. I plan on renting a snowboard. How much will the lift ticket and rental probably cost? Also, what is the weather like? Average temp in January? Thanks!

When does ski season really begin near Denver?

I’m going to visit a friend in Denver for skiing. Breckenridge’s "opening day" is November 10th. Coming from the northeast, I know that just ‘cuz the lifts are running doesn’t mean its worth your time (poor coverage, few open trails / lifts). Does anyone from that area (or someone who visits that area a lot) know when it is safe to make a trip out there and find good snow and a high percentage of open trails? I know the weather between now and then will probably have a large effect, but I guess i’d wonder if they engage in heavy snow making early in the year, and let the natural stuff pile on over the winter.
